Man United fans respond to Sanchez’s poor Palace performance

Manchester United somehow escaped Selhurst Park with all three points last night.It was an abject display initially from United, who went into the game on the back of three away matches without a goal in all competitions and they were punished by goals from Andros Townsend and Patrick van Aanholt.Alexis Sanchez gave the ball away a staggering 34 times throughout the game and although his commitment could not be questioned last night, the quality of his display certainly could.He was tireless in his running, as ever, and didn’t stop trying to make something happen and it was his deflected shot onto the crossbar which allowed Romelu Lukaku to collect the rebound and equalise.[ad_pod ]In general play, his passing was wayward, much to the delight of the home fans and he still looks like he is struggling to gel with his Old Trafford team-mates.United fans took to Twitter to react to Sanchez’s performance; some were unimpressed with how sloppy he was in possession, while others praised the fact he didn’t stop trying to create something to help the Red Devils claw their way back into the match.We’ve taken a closer look at some of the reaction…
